Marine Band San Diego
Founded in 1921, Marine Band San Diego has thrilled countless audience members through a schedule of appearances averaging nearly 400 per year. Established to support the Marines’ Recruit Training Regiment, the band also performs a wide variety of military and civilian events throughout the Southwest. They are a perennial favorite of Coronado Concerts in the Park audiences.

In Midlife Crisis
Coronado-based In Midlife Crisis has been rocking our community for years with classic songs of the 1960s and 70s. Yes they all have day jobs but the combo of Phil Hammett, Dan Runyon, Sue Shirey, Steve Patrick, Jim Mebust and Rich Gomez play with the heart and soul of the truest troubadours.

Sully & the Blue Eyed Soul
With a repertoire drawing on the works of Earth, Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Billy Preston, Otis Redding and others, Sully & The Blue-Eyed Soul Band return to Coronado Concerts in the Park. The group of Grammy Award winning and Tony Award nominated musicians backs Sully, a lead singer who is also a popular radio personality, whose nationally syndicated show is heard weekday afternoons on KOGO radio in San Diego.

Crown Town featuring Matt Heinecke
Coronado’s own Matt Heinecke has been playing gigs in our town since he was a freshman at Coronado High School. His unique style of guitar draws on a wide range of influences, including folk, classical, rock, jazz, country and bluegrass.

Coronado Concert Band
In their annual Independence Day performance the Coronado Concert Band displays its depth and versatility with a thorough rendering of the American patriotic songbook. The all-volunteer Coronado ensemble is multigenerational, featuring many Coronado High School alumni and a collection of fine amateur and professional talent.

CalPhonics
Let’s dance. Calphonics brings a high-energy stage presence and a set list covering songs of seven decades of popular American music with a focus on the 1980s and 90s. From Chaka Khan to Ariana Grande, Ray Charles to Biggie Smalls, Stevie Wonder to Beyonce.

Marmalade Skies
A tribute to The Beatles that’s all about the great music of the Fab Four. Don’t look for mop tops and Nehru jackets. This seven-piece band is focused on rendering the sounds of the lads from Liverpool with fidelity and passion.

The Gilbert Castellanos Latin Jazz Review
Castellanos teams up with pianist Irving Flores and an all-star lineup of Latin jazz players. This hot salsa orchestra will present some of the greatest Latin Jazz standards of all time. Just try to stay still for this concert.

Euphoria Brass Band is a San Diego based musical collective that serves up a contemporary mix of old school New Orleans traditional brass band jazz, funky street beats and new school edginess with a West Coast feeling.

Missy Andersen and SouthLand Soul
A dynamic one-of-a-kind soul and blues singer, Missy Andersen was voted the 2009 Best New Artist-Female by Real Blues Magazine and her self-titled CD, Missy Andersen, won Best Debut Album-Female that same year.

Navy Band Southwest
With over 80 years of service in San Diego, Navy Band Southwest is one of the Navy’s and region’s finest and oldest continuing musical organizations. Under the direction of Lieutenant Diane E. Nichols, the 45-member organization plays over 600 performances a year, including regular performances with the San Diego Symphony Summer Pops.

Jennifer Keith brings a sultry voice and dreamy swing repertoire that will have you swaying and dancing on clouds. The quintet reclaims the standards of the ’30s through 60s with contemporary sass and bravado.
